Another Poem About Death by ~Koloblican11763:iconKoloblican11763:

Night once again threatens to steal day,
The oncoming cold seeped through.
The warmth of life left all things.

Long ago the warmth was great,
Vast and Boundless.

Now, the decay of morals and society
has crept through the boundaries of truth
and Tainted the life that grew in that truth.

Now,
We decide.

To live our lives with this obvious invasion of truth,
decay with it and die behind our morals?

This invasion is treacherous,
Wasteful even.
To the innocent,
To the diseased,
To Our lives.

No longer will the golden tress grow in the forest of truth.
No longer will they bare the fruit of love, joy, and peace.
The Stupidity of Society has cut down the trees.
Axes forged of deceit and false beliefs.

But it was the holders of these axes,
And the thinkers of the false ideals
That did the cutting.

Ignorant are we,
The human race,
To create the downfall of our own existence.

We are all

I found this in my art book. I wrote it a long time ago, about...3 years in fact. Its based on my favorite book series and one of its main ideals.

It's a good piece with a message, but maybe a little too fragmented?
